Some Definitions related to ISO 14001

ENVIRONMENT: It is a circle containing air, water, soil, natural sources, plant communities (flora), animal communities (fauna), human and relations between them where the organization carries out its activities.

ENVIRONMENT SIZE: These are the elements of activities, product or services of the organization which interact with environment.

ENVIRONMENTAL EFFECT: All type of negative or positive changes arouse from the activities, products or services of the organization partially or completely.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY: It is the statement made by the organization to explain principles and intentions related to general environmental performance and to form a frame with environmental purposes and targets.
